How do you find the best gadgets that you can get? It is pointless, really, to just do some window shopping at some online and offline stores. Sure, you can see what the items look like and how they feel and something like that. But, how do we know that those things are really as great as advertised? What we also need to do is looking for some gadget reviews on some review sites. They sure are more objective in their reviews than stores.
There are many things that can be considered gadgets, from the small and smart things like smartphones, pdas, digital cameras, camcorders, games consoles, to the bigger ones like computers, TV, and home theater. When you find the review site, there are several ways to read some gadget reviews. One way, you might want to know the reviews about one particular model and brand. The other way is that you are looking for particular type of gadget but still are not sure which model or brand is the one for you. For that purpose, there are also some great listings of Top 10 gadgets for different kind of gadgets available in the market.
Right now I’m looking for a compact digital camera since my old one is broken. Everyone knows that Sony camera is great, but the price is too high for me. Now, from the Top 10 Gadgets review I know that there are still so many alternatives from different brands and models that have much lower prices but with no less specification.

Lucy B asked: I am saving up to buy a camcorder and I might buy a DV camcorder instead of a DVD one because it’ll be cheaper and I’m just wondering whether there is still a way to get the recordings from the DV cam, corder on to a DVD disc. Thanks!

theroomstoocold asked: i am looking for suggestions/experience/etc. on what would be the best (quality) camcorder in the under $400 range. it must be a mini dv and must have a firewire port, since i have a mac. i just purchased the samsung d372 dirt cheap and realized that i really want something of quality. the picture is just so grainy…recording driving in the car, you can’t even make out road signs. i am using it for a road trip and would really like everything to be clear. i’m not expecting hd quality, i just feel that details such as road signs should be readable. smaller is better, as far as size of the camcorder. a light is a plus but if not, it’s not a big deal. i also don’t care if it has a photo/still option. feel free to leave comments or email me at theroomstoocold@yahoo.com. any help is extremely appreciated, since no one in any store has any idea what they’re talking about.
thanks for the response, but i need it for next week. not going to wait and not going to spend more than $400.
not ALL dv cams do. a sony that i was looking at didn’t have one, says the specs on circuit city.
