Any tips on a top notch camera under $500 dollars?

underwater video tips
Becoming interested in youtube, i’ve made a channel.
Long story short, a very nice camera would be nice.
Does anyone have any tips?
Requirements:
1) Obviously (Or maybe not) I would prefer in the less then $500 range, I am willing to spend a nice deal of money on a camera that I like, but since i’m not professional, or have any desire to be professional, I would like to spend in the 350-500 range.
2) That being said, I don’t expect to see a barbie digital camera up here for $19.99, NOT what i’m looking for.
3) Having any unique details would be awesome. (Ex. able to go underwater)
4) DIGITAL please. And easily portable. If you’re going to say one of those canons you better make sure it’s really flippin good.
5) Clearly video is necessary.
6) :D
Thanks for reading my obnoxious rules.
Or if you didn’t, thanks for totally disregarding what I want. :D

Wildlife photography…?

wildlife photography
I have been thinking a lot about my future lately, since I am about to be hitting the age that I will have to start deciding what I want to do. I have always known that I want to do something with animals, and I went from vet, to zoologist, to ornithologist, back to zoologist. Now I’ve finally decided that I want to do wildlife photography. I don’t really know that much about photography, like the technical things, but a lot of people tell me I have an “eye for a nice picture”. Anyway, I kind of want to major in wildlife management, and minor in photography. Would that be a good route. I do want to focus more on animals then photography, and I’d rather learn about animal behavior and things like that, instead of what I would be learning in a zoology major. Should I double major in photography though? What exactly is “double majoring”?

Tips for Setting Loose Diamonds into Jewelry

Aug 21, 2010 Author: admin | Filed under: Hobbies

loose-diamonds.jpgThe trend now for people who want diamond for making jewelry is to buy loose diamonds. And that also applies for people who want to make their engagement rings. Now, if you want to make engagement ring, what should you do after buying the loose diamonds online. The first you should do is to ask the local jeweler to set the diamonds for you. Do not try to set the diamonds by ourselves. When your ring is finished, examine the quality of their work before you leave the store. Also, do not forget to check to make sure that the diamond is secure in your engagement ring setting before leaving the store.

What Do We Need Binocular For?

Aug 16, 2010 Author: admin | Filed under: Hobbies

Of course binocular is for watching something from afar. However, there are certain specific purposes of why people would need to get binocular. We need to be more specific in defining the purposes since there are many types and models of binoculars with different specifications. The first purpose is for hunting; for this purpose sturdier, durable, and water resistant binocular will be needed. The second purpose is for birding or watching bird; for this purpose, we will need binocular with magnification and light to come through to allow birds at a distance to be seen. Now, if we need the binocular for watching opera, the one with low power but very compact will be great.
